I should prol'ly elaborate a lil' more. 
Basically, I tend to like "less is more." The long pants seem a bit safe for a character that's risque, but the thong seems like too much.
The Hot Pants strike that nice medium, where the legs are nicely shown, but not *too* much is shown.
Might be me though, I'm just not a thong person.
