The shading on this picture is particularly strong- especially the multi tones on her boots. I like the color choices, as they work together well, and the bright blue highlight on the left really sets everything off.

Thanks! I'm really happy with how this one turned out, more so than most of the other random babes I've done this year.

This one's all digital. Glad you like it! It's all about that contrast...a lithe woman with a massive sword just creates an engaging image, I guess. :D

lol Now that was a thing about Monster Hunter that I must admit is Japanese Genius for a dinosaur fight, but against a human... that long recovery time after you swing that massive thing. A dinosaur is an animal, and it will run right into that lol, but a human, they would likely run away or dodge, but you are still left with the long recovery, so you might want to limit using that for one of your characters unless they are fighting an animal or are a super strong being themselves, and the recovery time wouldn't be as bad.

For the Skelly King, I want him to have a sword like the fastest strongest weapon in the game, the long long katana. Because that weapon was awesome :lmao:

You're overthinking this. It's just a random practice babe!

Besides, I would assume that if she were an actual character, she'd have a fighting style that would compensate for long recovery time when swinging the weapon, perhaps something more defensive. Or maybe she has secondary weaponry...something hidden in her breastplate like a set of poison needles to slow her targets down. Or maybe she has superhuman strength and can swing it like a baseball bat with the greatest of ease. ;) The right details can make anything work... which is why a character as ridiculous as Jet Dancer has a story now. ^^;

But as far as Monster Hunter goes, the Longswords are my absolute favorite weapon ever. That and the bow. :D

Oh yeah, wasn't it so weird that in Monster Hunter Tri the bow was missing?! WHAAAAAAAATTTT? lol :)

Yes, I really missed using the bow. I was so angry it wasn't in Tri. So much that I re-bought Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for my PSP! I hear the Bow is back in the WiiU and 3DS versions of MH...makes me want to try it out.

Thanks! I looked that anime up...it sounds weird...but I bet it's entertaining. The descriptions I read are almost never true to the content of the show within.

The show is wacky. It's all about food, but still an action anime. It is probably an acquired taste, but if you like to laugh I recommend this episode [link] so you can learn a little about it. Probably the funniest thing I've seen in an anime in a while.

I tried to watch that show...it was seriously wacky. It was really out there...oceans of various alcoholic beverages...trees with potato chips for bark... :crazy:

I didn't finish it because I'm not a fan of subbed anime, but I may give it another try later.

It reminded me that imagination really is a powerful thing. It was fun watching a show where the creators were just having a ball without bothering to make anything all that realistic.

I did say it was wacky! I hope you watched the entire episode, though. The faces they drew on them trying to retrieve a smelly fruit made me laugh, and that happened in the latter part of the episode. I found the series quite imaginative, too. The creator made an entire universe based on and around the idea of food. The government is a food based operation, the IGF (International Gourmet Federation), the main character's fighting weapons are a fork shield and knife punch. I think I get the biggest kick out of the intro where the Japanese guy speaking is overly dramatic about a food legend. I didn't think I'd like it and avoided for a while, but I was watching a bunch of other series that ended.
If you did like subs I'd recommend [link] The Unlimited - Hyoubu Kyousuke, you'd love it.

It's no problem; if it got your attention, it may be something to pay more attention to in the future. To be honest, I don't really measure proportions much these days; I tend to play it by ear especially with these 'random' girls I draw, so being a little off here and there tends to happen. I don't let it get to me though; just do better next time.
