Keeping busy as always. I'm focusing on simplifying and properly scheduling my workload. I've set a goal to finish a comic I've been commissioned to do by the end of February (hopefully sooner) so I'm putting my major personal projects (e.g., the WCL and Jet Dancer comics/game designs) on hold until then. I'm eager to complete this commission so I can get back to devoting 100% of my creative energies toward the things I want to create. Been kind of losing sight of my goals lately.
Just fyi, I am open for simple commissions--single characters, color jobs, that sort of thing. My price list is on my main page. But no comics...I'm not drawing comics for anyone again. I know now that it doesn't suit me to be the major creative force behind someone else's comic.
Meanwhile, I'm continuing to keep my pencil moving by doing a bunch of sketches of my favorite subject matter--girls, of course. I lapsed on my Daily Drawing theme of designing my WCL characters in regular clothes. Guess the allure of drawing pretty girl pinups was too strong. But I know me, and it's only a matter of time before I get bored with it. I'll probably do some enhancement to one or two more of them before I shift gears to something else I can use for brief diversions or warm-up sketches.
