You see what I did there?

I sketched and inked a drawing of my flagship gal Nia Black on a sheet of cardstock paper and was all set to practice with my grayscale Copics, but I messed up her face really bad which required a digital fix since I don't have any kind of correction fluid. So instead of markers, I decided to slap some quick digital colors on it. I think it turned out all right. I haven't drawn her in quite a while...it was fun.

This is her sister, by the way:

UPDATE: I did some touching up to the skin with a softer approach. I think it's better, but I love feedback!

Thanks! Nia's almost a 'bad guy' herself though! :D

You can't color over correction fluid with any type of markers, fyi. lol I like her arms- I'm slowly working up to getting those type of arms. xD

The skin coloring is softer, but your highlights are a bit harsh for natural skin shine, IMO. I don't know how to color digitally, but I'd suggest softening out the brightest highlights on her skin. I'm not sure if that makes sense.

Thanks for the feedback! :) Yeah, that's exactly why I opted to go digital in the end. Even if I did have some white out or something, I realized it would only have made things go badly with the markers.

Those highlights were added last; I was going for the comic styled 'cut and grad' look rather than the totally smooth digital painted look...I found that approach to be the happy medium I was looking for when it comes to coloring. I felt a totally soft approach to the skin might have made it too distinct from the way I colored her outfit.

You're welcome. Yeah, you was pretty much already screwed. lol

Oh I see. That makes more sense now that you explain it.
