I storm through my apartment door like a scolded kid sent to his room. I toss off the damnable helmet and flop on my couch. I still hear it in my head.

Her screams. They're echoing in my brain now, like I just came from a concert and the pounding guitar riffs are still making my eardrums quiver. Gotta turn it off. Gotta subdue it.

I make my way to the kitchen, yank open the fridge. I don't drink alcohol, but Chelsea left a bottle of Moscato the last time she popped in for a visit. I yank it from the shelf and carry it back to the couch. I don't bother with a glass.

Dualmask Meets Jet Dancer

New year, new employer, new suit.

Maxwell Hudson took a flying leap out of his own penthouse. Corp Hudson nearly fell apart. Then it got better. Thanks in no small part to Chelsea and the new CEO, Roland Stockton.

Oh, and I had my part in it.

Sabotaged a couple of those Board members before they could get to the meeting and vote one way or the other. Couldn't have them taking the company public or breaking it up. Couldn't have them outvoting Stockton, and especially couldn't have them voting to fire Chelsea.

In return, Stockton gave Chelsea a bigger budget. And the first thing she did was redesign Dualmask. I don't wear fabric over the mu

Jet Dancer modelingby =Dualmask

Digital Art / Drawings / Sci-Fi

When I first brought Jet Dancer back from my character graveyard in 2009 with this image

, I used a model as a reference for her face. I wanted to give that approach another go (this time, practically the whole figure) after I stumbled across a model that in my mind looked the way I imagined Jet Dancer looking if she were real.

I'll get back to my responsibilities and projects in time, but I just wanted to whip this up to see how it looked. Felt like a little diversion would do some good.

Update: One final tweak. I wanted to try out some new shading techniques I stumbled across today.

Thanks! I don't like to work so rigidly from life all the time, but sometimes it helps to have a base to work from, especially when a creative rut starts to rear its ugly head.
