It's raining. Hard. The raindrops are pounding against the suit so hard it almost sounds like a machine gun pelting me in the chest. The sound is almost deafening. But it's okay. Days like this are when the training really comes into play.

You have five senses. Any one of them is more than enough to accomplish your goals. More than that, and with enough focus and determination, anyone can be superhuman.

Dualmask 1

You read in comic books, how they do it. They make it seem so easy. I mean, everybody knows comic books aren't real life. Nobody goes around in flashy costumes and masks doing 'deeds of derring-do', vanquishing evil and all that crap.

See, sometimes, real life calls for that sort of thing. Certain kinds of employment call for the need to wear a mask. But it still feels a little silly. I mean, when you're out there, and you're leaping on the rooftops, and you're stalking some hapless target, and you take them out, it's hilarious. You might have seen that person earlier that day, walked past them; maybe excused yourself when you 'accidentally'

WCL 8 - Ascension

The governing body of Terradin consisted of a Council of eight dignitaries, selected through democratic election, each with authority over Terradin's eight Sectors. Complex laws and decisions had to be decided upon by discussion and majority vote between the Council.
The Defense Force, Terradin's military, answered to the Council. The representative and supreme commander of the Defense Force, General Patricia James, needed to appeal to the Council for any decisions that directly affected military funding, armament and mass deployment.

"All right, power it up. Let's try it again."
In the center of an expansive laboratory lined with tables and storage racks, a group of men worked on computer terminals and used laser-guided tools to modify and tweak various aspects of a mechanical device seated on a pedestal. One goggles-bearing young man sat near the device, which looked like an armored hand affixed to a bulky gauntlet, a large gun barrel above the knuckles of the hand aiming at a dense steel block. The young man pressed a button connected via a cord to the gauntlet.

A man sat quietly on the floor in the middle of an apartment living room, his legs crossed. A sword sat on a pedestal ahead of him. He faced it with his eyes calmly shut.
The door behind him swooshed open as the twin siblings, Elise and Larcen Vega, entered.
"Master," Larcen began.
"Shush," said Elise quickly. "He's meditating."

WCL 5 - Enter the Underground

"We should split up from here."
Once they arrived in Terradin Sector Six and made certain they were not followed, Larcen Vega, Elise Vega and Maxwell Rush all agreed with Vincenzo Rush's idea, and the four split into two pairs, the Vega twins going one way, the Rush brothers another.

Some quick OC fanart I decided to do over the weekend. I wanted to draw some characters that weren't mine, so I went through my friends' list and randomly picked some OCs that I thought I would enjoy drawing. I inked all of these using Microns and brush pens, and of course Photoshop for the colors.

Nice work! It blends great designs with a great style. The little things stand out to me in this pic- or maybe not so little. The metallic gauntlet is excellently rendered. The green and purple glows, the environmental effect. It's all superb.

Well, I don't know if it's meant to be metal...I was just following the reference and colored it with simple cel shading...

I happen to have a female character with two, count 'em, two giant mecha hands! I don't draw her much, but she's got something of a role in a comic I'm slowly working on these days.

Yeah I think something got lost in translation, though the metal band can work. It would just mean that she'd be walking around with a big ol ring swaying back and forth.
