Callsign: Phantom by Dualmask Callsign: Phantom by Dualmask
Another quickie I did to loosen up. Again, took about an hour. It's kind of liberating, not worrying so much about clean, near-perfect lines and just...having a little fun. I didn't even go through the trouble to make sure I used the exact same colors from other incarnations of the character. The purple for her body suit is probably off, among other things.

Alexia Ford/Phantom is part of my WEAPON Combat League concept.

I know that the lines here are not as clean as you are used to, but I do think they look good. I'd even go as far as to consider them a "style". The colors work well and the female figure is very accurate. The only constructive criticism I could offer is to maybe add a little more contrast in her skin tones. From looking at the other great works in your gallery I can tell this is something you have accomplished time and time again and can continue to accomplish in the future.

Keep in mind that I am not an expert. I'm just someone who's familiar with much of the great work that you create.

I completely understand where your coming from. Going the sketchy route is very liberating. Haha, your sketches are still 10x better than my clean work.

Another awesome style Jonathan man.

The lines aren't clean, but I think they have a nice sense of energy to them. As for colors, maybe it's best to adjust them to the composition, rather than sticking to the original form- they seem to work well together here.

I think this turned out pretty well. It makes me think that sometimes super-clean line art is overrated. Thanks for commenting!

Lively energy is something I strive for- maybe I don't always get there, but it's so vital to a drawing. If the tradeoff is a bit of rough linework, it's worth it.

Really nice work, JP! Love how you drew the face(really cute!) and hairstyle. I like the concept as well. It's kinda different for you, in a good way and the colors work well. as for a critique, just this sta.sh/0c6c0ivh6xl and that kinda thing is a recurring thing with you that I don't believe is a a style thing I think you can fix.
